STUMBLEDUPON a LOT of stuff tonight. My eyes are heavy- must sleep now. Came across Greg Ulmer's page and finally was able to read up on him more instead of hearing OF him.. which was cool. He is interesting in how he designs his site. Simple. I like it.

I am finding that I want to focus sub-categorically-like on critical thinking. Have we mentioned this? I feel like we have. Many students, fresh freshmen, have not done a whole heck of a lot of it in high school. We could at least have them blog on it... have them critically think on subjects familiar and then move them to the WWW and the more focused questions we have. Maybe I am just tired and this makes no sense. What follows is what I found. Perhaps you've seen some of the sites, but I feel like I found a few good ones. So far.

http://www.philosophy.unimelb.edu.au/reason/critical/
-Use for fall class? Interests me at least....

-Education for Thinking Project [What should education accomplish?.. Knowing about knowing... The value of knowing...]

http://www.utc.edu/Teaching-Resource-Center/critical.html#strategies
-Critical Thinking site: What is critical thinking? Why teach it?

-Writing: A Window on the World. An somewhat online class based out of the U of Nebraska at Lincoln.

-Curriculum etc. to a course entitled: Writing through Media.. taught by Greg Ulmer at the U of Florida
