Kevin just e-mailed some really really cool articles.. things to think on. Can't understand why he didn't BLOG about it all, but someday, I hope to.
I have really fallen behind on my assignment of finding articles that are a bit more negative about blogging... and I have no really good excuse which makes my whining even more pathetic. I AM reading this book from the Bedford Publishers called 'convergences' and I like how that word alone means coming together at one point from many directions. ... the main goal of education, in my world, is to get students to a certain point no matter what the method. If they need blogging or free-writing or minute papers or whatever.. we need to get them thinking. No matter what. I think that is why I am latched onto this course. Almost anything we do can be, will be, connected to technology.. to education and to literacy. It makes me giddy.
I am taking a few hours tomorrow (actually today), Friday, and Sunday to read your items, Kevin, and add more to my syllabus... I will have more questions and ideas to.. soon...
