What we are doing tomorrow in class to start them off into the weblogging frontier. I think I explained it well last Thursday. I explained it more from a student perspective: how it worked for me.. how it isn't homework (or more work) but a tool that I love.. how I want them to TRY it and that I know they all won't love it like I do... etc. I got a lot of nods. Good or bad, I'll find out tomorrow.

P.S. Kevin knows this- but I got IRB approval. I can begin my own blogThesis now.

Hold up.
One of my students on Thursday told me (as we were waiting for our warm Nelson Bldg room) that she HAD HEARD of weblogs before... that most of Fargo South students fell into the popularity of them a year or so back.. No teachers are using them there, but many students that went there have them because that's the way they all communicated, etc. So, I may have a few in my classrooms... BUT if we have a lot of South students throughout English 110, I am SET for my thesis surveys! Yippeeeee.

It's interesting what students will tell you personally versus in a classroom/group setting. Erg.
